The Somerset West Village Collective is a partnership initiative that aims to transform and renew the Somerset West CBD into a connected place where people want to live, work, visit and shop.
Operating within the boundaries of the Somerset West City Improvement District (SWCID), the Village Collective spans the precincts of Main Road, Caledon, Drama and Bright Street with the Village Garden forming the green heart of the area.
With intriguing new shopping and lifestyle offerings, exciting events and improved security, we are already seeing a positive response and increased interest in the area.
Committed to Inclusivity
As an active community partner, the Village Collective offers partners, local businesses and visitors the opportunity to join our Villager network, an initiative to support beautification projects, clean-ups, improve signage and the upkeep of the Village Garden.
While the Village Collective operates within the specified boundary of the SWCID, initiatives and promotional activities have a positive ripple effect on the whole of Somerset West.
We have developed a tiered partnership model offering all levels of business within the precinct the opportunity to join the Collective and participate in promotional activities.
